Ordering from several sellers at once: how it works
When a customer puts items from two different shops in their cart, MODEACC treats it as a single order from their point of view, even though each seller sees their own line on their side.
One reference for the customer, one line per seller
The customer gets a single reference for their whole purchase — the one from the group's first line. Each seller involved sees their own order, with their own reference, in their seller space: the two references can differ for the same customer, that's not an error.
Why this can be confusing at first
If a customer messages a seller quoting the reference they received, and it doesn't match the line visible in that seller's dashboard, it's not necessarily a mistake on their part: order search accepts exactly that reference too, not just the seller's own line.
What stays independent for each seller
Beyond the shared reference, each seller manages their own line fully independently: preparation, shipping, commission and returns are never mixed between the shops in a single grouped order.
