Who pays delivery fees when selling online in Morocco?
Many beginner sellers calculate their margin without counting delivery, then find out afterward it eats into what they thought they'd earn. On MODEACC, this is settled simply: delivery fees are paid by the buyer, never deducted from the seller's share.
What a seller actually keeps
When an order is paid, the seller keeps the item's price minus commission (8 to 15% depending on the price tier) — delivery never enters that calculation, since it's billed separately to the buyer and handled end to end by MODEACC.
Why that's not the case everywhere
Selling on your own through social media or a personal site means negotiating a rate with a carrier yourself, sometimes fronting the cost, and handling lost or refused parcels. That's real logistics work on top of the sale itself, which selling on a marketplace avoids.
What this means for pricing
Since delivery isn't part of the item's price, a seller on MODEACC can set a price thinking only about their real margin (price minus commission), without having to factor a shipping cost into the calculation.
